Inspections and commissioning
Professional commissioning and periodic inspections of power supply systems at their installation and operating site.
Extend the service life and reliability of your power supply unit
We provide commissioning and periodic inspections of power supplies and emergency power supply systems at customers’ sites. The work is carried out by our technicians, and each inspection is confirmed with an acceptance report. Regular inspections improve system reliability and meet operational requirements.
Needs and challenges our customers bring to us
Problem
During the first commissioning or after an installation upgrade, the power supply unit does not operate as assumed in the design, or there are doubts regarding configuration and operating parameters.
Solution
MERAWEX provides technical support both remotely (by phone or e-mail) and as an on-site commissioning service. As part of commissioning, our service team verifies wiring correctness, power supply configuration, cooperation with loads, and the operating parameters of the entire system.
Problem
MERAWEX power supplies are in operation at the site as part of fire protection systems. Are periodic technical inspections of these devices required? On what basis?
Solution
According to PN-EN 54-14 (Fire detection and fire alarm systems – Guidelines for planning, design, installation, commissioning, use and maintenance), system components, including power supplies, should undergo periodic inspections and maintenance at least once a year. MERAWEX offers periodic on-site inspections of its power supplies, including a technical condition check, functional tests and an assessment of correct operation within the fire protection system.
Problem
The power supply unit has been operating on site for a long time without visible failures, but the user is not sure whether it maintains the correct operating parameters and properly performs the backup power function.
Solution
As part of a periodic inspection, MERAWEX verifies the technical condition of the power supply unit, checks voltage parameters, tests switchover to battery power and assesses cooperation with the system. This confirms readiness for continued operation or enables preventive actions to be planned.
Problem
The system has been expanded, loads have been changed or the installation has been modified, which may affect loading and correct operation of the power supply unit.
Solution
During commissioning or an on-site inspection, MERAWEX service analyzes current loading, power supply configuration and parameter compliance with the system’s new requirements. If needed, setting adjustments or recommendations for further operation are provided.
Problem
After a repair or service intervention, the user needs confirmation that the power supply unit operates correctly in the site’s actual conditions.
Solution
MERAWEX offers on-site commissioning of the power supply unit after service or repair. The service includes checking connections, functional tests (including simulation of mains power loss) and confirmation of correct operation within the system.
Reliable device support
MERAWEX provides professional commissioning and periodic inspections of power supplies and emergency power supply systems directly at customers’ sites. Experienced and trained technicians arrive at an agreed time and diagnose any issues. After completing the required repairs, they carry out tests confirming correct system operation. During the first commissioning, the installation is checked, cooperating devices are configured and the operation of the entire system is verified.
Regular service visits ensure reliable operation, meet operational requirements and allow the manufacturer’s warranty period to be extended.
