Why do you need a dedicated power supply?

Problem

Some devices or systems require power with very specific, often atypical voltage values. Standard off-the-shelf power supplies designed for general applications (e.g., 5 V, 12 V, 24 V) cannot be used in such cases to provide the required supply voltage.

We design a dedicated power supply to match the required input voltage and the specific needs of the powered device. We guarantee stable, safe, and energy-efficient operation, fully compliant with the manufacturer’s requirements. Solution

We design power supplies precisely matched to the load profile of the target device, implementing various operating modes and high-efficiency topologies. In systems with forced cooling, we use microprocessor-based fan speed control, optimising thermal performance and significantly reducing the operating costs of the entire system.

We develop power supplies mechanically adapted to the device design. At the design stage, we consider the available installation space, connector placement, cooling method, and mounting. With our in-house design team and production facilities, we deliver solutions that fit perfectly into the customer’s enclosure and are ready for installation without additional modifications.

Frequently asked questions about Power Supply Design and Production

To design a power supply perfectly suited to your needs, we require basic data: input and output voltage, load current or power, enclosure type and mounting method. Additional functions the custom power supply is to provide are also important—e.g., cooperation with batteries, communication, signalling. We discuss all these requirements free of charge during initial consultations.

Yes. After the initial specification is approved, we prepare prototypes for testing. If you decide to change the assumptions during trials, we will introduce the appropriate modifications and prepare a new prototype version. Power-supply design is carried out in a way that allows the solution to be adapted to the customer’s changing needs—even at later stages of the work.

Yes. All our products are covered by an EC Declaration of Conformity. We perform EMC and LVD tests in our own laboratory, verifying compliance with applicable standards. At the customer’s request, we can also commission tests at an external accredited laboratory.

Of course. We understand that the power supply is part of a larger system, so we support customers during the final commissioning of the entire device. You can deliver the complete system to us—we will carry out compatibility tests and indicate how to resolve any issues.
