The battery cassettes have been designed for cooperation with the MERAWEX telecom power systems. A cassette can include four 12Ah / 12V batteries.
The AK48-12S cassette is adapted to the SI48-1U power system, and the SI48-12-1 cassette to the SI48-28, SI48-48 and SI24-30 power systems. There are cassettes for 24Vdc or 48Vdc.
