Beginnings
MERAWEX sp. z o.o. is a Polish company with a tradition dating back to 1989, successfully operating for over 35 years in the electronics and electrical engineering industries. Our story is an example of sustainable growth based on innovation, high quality standards and continuous adaptation to changing market needs.
Key milestones
2025 – today
The company undergoes a rebranding that highlights dynamic growth, increased production capacity and product quality. This change symbolises the tremendous development of recent years, thanks to which MERAWEX has grown from a small local company into a professional electronics and mechanical manufacturing provider supplying many countries worldwide. Today we operate in modern facilities with an area of 6,000 m² and have a team of experienced professionals who prove every day that Polish engineering can be synonymous with quality and innovation.
2023
Opening of the company’s second location on Kilinskiego Street in Gliwice. This increases the operational space and streamlines processes. Purchase of an additional SMT assembly line and a soldering robot, enabling a significant increase in production capacity.
2022
Expansion of the machinery park with a new bending centre
2020
Expansion of the mechanical department’s capabilities with another turret punching machine
2018
Design and certification of the ZUP-230V power supply – the first on the Polish market to meet EN 54-4 and EN 12101-10 standards, providing reliable 230 V AC power.
Further investments to develop the mechanical department (turret punching machine and press brake) and the quality control department (AOI automatic optical inspection machine for the SMD line and additional Chroma equipment).
2015
The Quality Control Department gains an advanced Chroma automatic inspection system, opening a new chapter in improving our product quality.
2014
Purchase of a new SMT production line – a significant increase in production capacity and assembly quality.
2012
The company enters international markets, launching dynamic export growth.
Delivery of power systems for sites related to EURO 2012 infrastructure projects.
2006
Relocation to a new site at 8 Torunska Street in Gliwice.
Implementation of an ISO 14001-compliant environmental management system, highlighting our commitment to sustainable development and the protection of natural resources.
2005
Implementation of an ISO 9001-compliant quality management system, confirming the quality and effectiveness of our management processes.
2003
Introduction (in cooperation with Bosch) of the ZSP1000E-AK3 power supply – the first on the Polish market for Voice Alarm Systems.
2001 – 2003
Execution of one of the largest contracts – delivery of 200,000 dedicated power supplies for Poland’s largest telecommunications company.
2001
Introduction of the first power supply in Central and Eastern Europe dedicated to the fire automation and control market.
1994
Introduction of the first DC power system dedicated to the telecommunications industry.
1990
Development of dozens of innovative power system designs for several telecommunications companies.
